Hi,
SQLyog performs the sync between all the columns between the tables. There is no option to exclude a specific column from being synced. In SQLyog, there is an option to select specific columns to be compared to determine the updates to be done in the target. But, it does not mean that only the selected columns are synchronised. Irrespective of the columns selected to perform the checksum calculation, SQLyog would sync all the columns in a table. For more information, please refer the doc >> http://sqlyogkb.webyog.com/article/294-selecting-tablesRegards,SibinSibin A SModeratorHello larsen,
We have fixed this issue with the latest release. Please find the release note here >> http://blog.webyog.com/2016/02/12/sqlyog-mysql-gui-12-2-0-released/
Sibin A SModeratorHello Mitch,
We have identified the issue. We plan to release the new build with the fix in 30-45 minutes. Thanks for your patience in advance.

Sibin A SModeratorHello rguillemette,We are not sure how this post was missed, please find the solution to your queries,1. The “Filter” icon in the Result window refreshes the existing filter and provides an option to create new filter.
In your case, once a filter is created, you can use the existing filter to add/modify it by selecting the corresponding cell in the table data and right click on it and select the “Custom Filter” option from the option-list (“Filter -> Custom Filter”) to retain/use the filter. Please refer the below screenshot for the same2. Filter is table specific. Same filter cannot be applied to different tables, Consider the case when the same filter is applied on another table that do not have any common columns, this would result in an error.

Sibin A SModeratorHello Mitch,
So what exactly do you mean by writing “Repeatable crash”. Did the program simply disappear for instance? In case of a crash, there would be a crash dump file that would get generated. Can you tell us in detail the steps that lead to the crash as we aren’t successful in reproducing it at our end. Also tell us the environment where SQLyog is installed and also the SQLyog version.Sibin A SModeratorHello Joviel,
You can use the “SQL Scheduler and Reporting Wizard” from the “Powertools” menu which provides the option to “Exit immediately” or “Continue with next query” when an error occurs while executing scripts. You can also schedule the execution to run immediately or later. Please refer the doc >> http://sqlyogkb.webyog.com/article/306-choosing-what-to-doSQLyog lets you either ‘Send the query results to an email’ or ‘Execute scripts and also send an email on error’ with this option.Regards,SibinSibin A SModeratorHello Mitch,
When Stored Procedures, Views, Functions and Triggers are copied to different host, MySQL also returns their definition with the database name in it. Stripping out the database name and executing them seems to be difficult and very time-consuming to code to remove the database name correctly and execute it in different context automatically. Please refer the FAQ, here >> http://faq.webyog.com/content/12/32/en/mysql-5-objects-are-greyed-out-in-copy-db-to-other-host-dialogue.htmlSibin A SModeratorHello Mitch,

Sibin A SModeratorHello Mitch,
We are able to reproduce the crash at our end. We will check the issue and debug the issue shortly.

Sibin A SModeratorHello Mitch,
The data in the resultset is obtained after executing the query and not from the table. In the resultset (join of two tables), UPDATE query is fired when you try to modify the value of an existing row. INSERT query is fired in case of a new row is added.Regards,SibinSibin A SModeratorHello Mitch,
We are not able to reproduce this case at our end with wine version 1.6.2 and all the characters(especially the first character) do show up in the field.

Sibin A SModeratorHello Davemarks,You can use the ‘Visual Data Compare‘ tool to sync only the data that aren’t similar in the source and destination tables by selecting the option ‘Hide similar rows’ in the ‘Visual Data Compare’ wizard. This option presents only the data that has to be synced between the servers excluding the similar data.Currently SQLyog supports backing up the databases/tables as a whole. The reason SQLyog doesn’t perform backing up only the newly added rows is that SQLyog being a MySQL Client cannot fire queries to the dump file to fetch the data that is already present in it and perform the backup of remaining data.Regards,SibinSibin A SModeratorHello Stephan,
From your feedback “To allow an initial analysis of the data we are looking for a way the result of a question directly display in SQLYog as a diagram“, If I understand your question correctly, do you mean to display the charts based on the result of an executed query. If so, SQLyog has no option to display them.

Sibin A SModeratorHello christophe,Thanks for your valuable feedback. We will consider your views that will help us make SQLyog better. We have added your request into our issue tracker >> https://github.com/webyog/sqlyog-community/issues/1180.A work around is, you can save a session restore point manually and always open the files that you may require to pen every time.Regards,Sibin -
