We have re-designed Monyog UI completely with Monyog-7.0 release and the latest being Monyog-8.2.0 and this issue is fixed with the re-designed UI and many more features are added since v6.63. You can refer to our blog for the release notes, here.

    Hi,

SQLyog is not a .NET program and thus does not use Mono (MONO is .NET ported to Unix). You may install fonts in Wine, but it does not seem to help either. We checked the same with Notepad++ which is a Windows only program as well and it seems to respond in a similar way. We suspect it is a bug in wine and we have reported the issue. You can find the issue reported here.

We cannot assure a fix for this as it is works fine in native Windows environment and is related to internals of how wine deals with fonts.

    Hi,

The output that you shared shows “have_openssl” has the value ‘NO’. This means that you need to recompile or reinstall MySQL.

If you see “DISABLED” next to “have_openssl” and “have_ssl”, great – that means that your copy of MySQL supports SSL. and if ‘Yes’ then SSL is setup.

Please refer the MySQL official documentation, here

    Hi,

Can you please tell us what do you term as a “crash”. Also, please tell exactly what happened that should have not, and what does not happen that should? Does SQLyog application hang or vanish? If there is a crash in the strict meaning of the word , SQLyog generates a crash dump file that can be found at the location “C:\Users\{user_name}\AppData\Roaming\SQLyog\” (look for recent files with a .dmp extension. Only files that are not 0-size are relevant. There will always be one such 0-size file).

If there’s any such file, then please send it to us at “[email protected]” and also the SQLyog version which can be found from the menu >> “Help -> About” and also let us know if SQLyog was 32-bit or 64-bit.

    Hi,

You will need to login in as that Windows user where the Scheduled job is running and then stop or delete the job in SQLyog using the ‘Scheduled Jobs’ option under the ‘Powertools’ menu.

Or, you can delete the respective job from the Windows Task Scheduler.

Please note, the scheduled job is not with the server (the server does not know a scheduled job is running at all), but executed by the Windows Scheduler on the machine where it was created.

    Hi,

We are unable to reproduce it at our end. Are you connected to the server directly or through SSH/SSL? This may be a network issue.

The JSON datatype is supported in MySQL 5.7.8 and above. We have added the basic support for JSON datatype in SQLyog 12.2.5. You may refer the release notes, here.

    Hi,

I’m sorry that currently there is no other workaround rather than using the ‘Export As’ option in the Result window which you mentioned.

    Sibin
