When I open SQLyog it tries to restore the connections and crashes (closing disgracefully)

 

 

Crashing means does the application hang or application prompt a message saying that it is crash. As regards “crash dumps” look in the folder

 

Windows 7: 

C:Users{user}AppDataRoamingSQLyog

 

for files named like “SQLyog_Dump_xyz.dmp” (xyz is a number). Only files larger than 0 bytes are interesting and if there are more please try to identify the correct one(s) from the time it was saved. Please attach those crash dumps here.

Also we are unable to reproduce this at our end. Could you please confirm if you have tried this: 

 

1) Make sure session restore from: Tools > Preferences > Others > Restore session on startup.

2) Try making some 4-5 connections

3) Close SQLyog 

4) Restart SQLyog

 

Follow the process for 2 or 3 times and let us know.

You can do this by creating multiple jobs from Scheduled backup and automate using a singe batch file.

You can create the job file for one job in the wizard and simply edit it for use with other jobs, if you feel this is easier than using the wizard multiple times. You are using a HTTP connection and Linux version of SJA does not support tunneling. Please use wine command line to run windows SJA.exe. I have attached a screenshot for your reference.

There is no length limit for the host field.  

Could you please tell us what is the type of connection that you are using(Direct/HTTP/SSH)?

Also if possible it would be helpful if you can attach the job file.
