ParticipantI agree that not everyone would find this feature useful, so it would probably need to be optional.
But, in my case it would be very helpful, and I’m sure that I’m not the only one.

Participant12.19 was essentially unusable for me. I went back to 12.18.
PS – are there download links for older versions in the customer’s area of the web site? I could not find them. Downloaded by munging the URL of the current version.

ParticipantSorry – I should have been more clear. The crash happens when I do Right Click -> Paste SQL Statement -> Update.
I get this message: SQLyog crashed. Dump file saved in …
That dump is attached.
PS this is Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit
Wine 1.6.2

ParticipantI humbly suggest that the process to add a screen shot be simplified.

ParticipantFAQ link working now.
Original request (right click to copy) still pending.
Mitch
ParticipantFAQ link is not working.
The ability to copy a view already exists. When you invoke the “Copy Database to Different Host/Database” dialog, it is possible to check/uncheck views and have them successfully copied to the target database. All I’m asking for here is the ability to easily invoke that dialog with only the selected view checked, similar to what you can already do with a table.

ParticipantI think SQLyog should be smart enough to understand that skuclassificationskuid is the primary key of the sku_classification_sku table, so an update with a null PK doesn’t make sense, so an insert is needed instead.
Mitch
ParticipantI’d post a screen shot, but can’t figure out how!
Mitch
ParticipantI’ve noticed that it is only a problem if the column is relatively narrow.
Mitch
ParticipantAny feedback on this?
Mitch
ParticipantThis is happening almost every day. Just now it crashed when I clicked on a database name in the left panel.
Mitch
ParticipantYes, it happens almost every day.

ParticipantI respectfully disagree. The program should be perfectly capable of handling this situation in a way that is transparent to the user.
It is a bug, although a minor one.
Mitch
ParticipantHow do we go about diagnosing this problem. It is happening several times a day lately.
