It’s happening to me randomly too. To close SQLYog, I have to kill the process, (using either xkill or system monitor) and fire off a console command “wineboot” which resets wine, otherwise next time I try and start SQLYog it won’t start correctly.
WaveTylerMemberSame here. Running same specs as Mitch.
WaveTylerMemberWe were able to get it to work by doing the following:
We used a root file (If you use AWS, sometimes you have to combine the root with the specific db region) placed in a specific directory.
We made a directory off of the SQLYOG install location and loaded the certs from there. ** We tried other locations and still experienced the issue you mentioned. ** We added a specific Cipher of (This may be different for you depending on your db source) DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA

Using version 12.14, and this is still an issue.
WaveTylerMemberSolved the issue. In the SQLYOG.INI file, there were quite a few references to a mapped drive in “recent” files. I removed this drive from my winecfg for the SQLYOG application and all references to that mapped drive in the INI file. The issue went away.

Any ideas or suggestions? Thank you.
WaveTylerMemberYes, sorry for the delay.
Attached is the DUMP file.
I understand that 14.10 is not meant to be but a development release, but there were other reasons (graphics card/driver related) that I moved up.
Fortunately we aren’t that far from 15.04.

WaveTylerMemberHello,
Any further progress on this issue? The same issue applies to the [ Foreground Color ] and [ Background Color ] buttons in the Fonts & Editor Settings tab. Not that it’s a “huge” deal, but I like to change the background color away from white. I’ve tried lots of different things to get this to work, but so far no luck. (i.e. changing Libraries options for comdlg32)
Thanks.
