ParticipantNo, any kind of “annotations” (adding text, drawing) is not possible

ParticipantWe don’t develop this Forums software ourselves. It was originally chosen for 2 reasons primarily 1) There was professional support option 2) File attachmentis possible (in various free similar softwares like phpbb there is/was not).
Thanks for the image anyway! 🙂 We will check.

ParticipantOK …we will try to dig into this. Are you ‘root’@’localhost’ when backing up? And does he/you have privileges to underlying tables? Simply connect (as same user) and execute “SHOW GRANTS;”

ParticipantI agree that attaching a file can be a little tricky with this Forums software. Please try to follow the steps:
1) Click on “more reply options” (below the editor)
2) Click “Select file”. A Windows explorer dialog will open. Select teh file.
3) Now “Attach this file” .It will be uploaded.
4) Finally “Insert to post”. It will be inserted at cursor position, but you can move the placeholder using copy/paste.

ParticipantWe have no plans of changing this.

ParticipantFAQ link works for me. Could you please try again?

ParticipantSorry for the late reply. We will try to reproduce “but only if I export all databases [including ‘mysql’]”.
However please:
1) tell the server version.
2) are underlying tables MyISAM or InnoDB?
3) Your settings for lock and flush on source. Please see image. [attachment=2056:lockandflush.PNG]

ParticipantI will try to paste something: This is pasted (Ctrl+V)
What browser are you using? I use Chrome.

ParticipantNo, it is not possible to use MONyog for this. MONyog will only output a HTTP stream formatted for reading in a browser. It does not and cannot return any of its information to command line.
We have similar requests (for summary reports) already, but nothing has been decided.

ParticipantI got the point now, I think. We have fixed a bug that will go into next (6.51) release. In release notes the bugfix is described as
Monyog failed to send ‘stable alert’ when both “notify till stable” and “notify when stable” options were enabled and if different values were set for the “send notification when alertable” and “remind me after every ..”.
Was that the point?

ParticipantWould you allow us temporary access to this server. If so please contact us at [email protected] so that we can exchange details privately. You should then create a user account for us. It will not need to have access to any data. But also this we can arrange privately.
BTW: did you try SSH-tunnel?

Participant1) ‘Notify till stable’ will continue sending alerts at intervals as long as the counter is in ‘critical’ condition. If you don’t select this, you will get only one mail for the same critical event, no matter for how long the critical condition lasts.
2) ‘Notify when stable’ will send a mail when a critical event stops being critical (the value of the counter becomes lower than what is defined as ‘critial’). If this is not selected you will not be alerted hen a critical condition becomes non-critical.
.. so in my understanding they are independent.
Did you experience anything not in accordance with the explanation above?

Participant“the current file explorer dialog” is a standard Windows API control.
