Hi Khushboo,
I just installed the new version. Using the cursor-keys works fine to select a second entry, but it would even be better, if I could press a key e.g. “F” a second/third/… time to select the next entry starting with “F”.
It would be great to see this in one of the next versions =)

larsenParticipantHi,
I have another improvement suggestion. At the moment, after selecting an entry from the saved connections dialog, the focus jumps to the connect button. This is unhandy when selecting entries by pressing their first letter.
Imagine having multiple entries that start with the letter “F”. You cannot easily select the second entry as the focus jumps away after having pressed “F” for the first time.
I suggest that the focus remains on the dropdown box. The user is then able to select the second entry by pressing “F” for a second time or by using the cursor keys. The connection can then be opened by simply pressing enter.
Lars
larsenParticipantNope, still the same. I will open a ticket.
Thanks for your help =)
larsenParticipantHi Supratik,
I reloaded the page multiple times (and Opera does not use it´s cache on F5) and also logged out and in again, but unfortunately it´s still there.
larsenParticipant'peterlaursen' wrote:“pressing Enter in the “first row” or “rows” textbox above the resultset should refresh the result” .. not sure if it should rather work as TAB does/should do.
Why should Enter work as TAB, when TAB already does the job and Enter could provide more functionality?
If I only want to display rows 0-200 instead of 0-100, I want to enter 200, press enter and be finished.
larsenParticipantThx!
larsenParticipantI´m not really missing anything, but thought that the options should be consistent. In case this was done on purpose, I´m fine with it =)
larsenParticipantNo, didn´t help though I reloaded the page. See screenshot.
larsenParticipantI just noticed that I still have a “1 in a green circle” next to my avatar in the top right corner indicating I have a new personal message. Could you please simply delete that message?
It´s not that kind of a problem, but I would notice it again and again 😉
larsenParticipantSo, I´m kinda like a Webyog employee… cool 😉
larsenParticipantHi Peter,
thx, I will do so.
larsenParticipantHi Vishal,
thx for the quick fix =)
larsenParticipant=)
My proposal is to change the accelerator to Alt+S.
btw: Is Alt+C the default in SQLyog for “Close” or should it be changed to “Cancel”?
larsenParticipantPerhaps it´s a problem only with a German XP?
Other applications here work fine.
larsenParticipantI made a video – lousy quality, but I think you will see what happens.
Tested with other PCs, all Win XP SP3 German. Versions 8.32 and 8.15 beta 1 show the same behaviour.
