Thanks for using SQLyog and for your valuable suggestion. We will discuss this and consider implementing a keyboard shortcut for switching between the views. We will update shortly on this.

It's taking a very long time (compared to mysqldump)

It should not be like this, because we did all kind of bench marking and we never felt like that. Have you selected the “bulk insert” option and other options correctly?

I just modified the job file you attached to this thread. Please find the difference, and try to run this job file.

    Let us know the status.

    Thanks for updating.

We are looking into this issue. I tried the same thing and once the file-size reached 2GB, the sja console displayed a message saying the file size had exceeded and stopped the process.

We will update you once we checked this in detail.

    Thank you

    Hello,

The dump points to the same windows dll(wininet.dll). We doubt whether this issue is specific to WIN7. We are trying our best to reproduce this with some WIN7 machines.

I will elaborate little if you still have the problem.

    Quote:
All i see is just two tables after synchronization complete

As I understood you have many tables in Source and Target and after you 'Compare' Schemasync tree-view shows only two tables. This is because schema sync identified all other table's schema is same for both source and target.

If you like to see all tables including identical-schema tables, do the following:-

    i) Select both source & target databases

ii) Un-check all the check-boxes in the right pane under section “Hide and Ignore Objects” (For you case you must un-check the option “Identical”)

    iii) Click on 'Compare button.

    Please see the screen-shot attached.

We have made maximum improvements with the current implementation. With 100000+ rows now its improved 40-60%. But still some lag is there that we may take some time to find a better solution, and I can not tell now how long will take because we need to discuss this first. If we have any release next week we will include the improvements or else will provide you special build, so that you can experience the difference.
