MemberI have never tried MySQL Query Browser.
I will take a look at the option and revert back soon.

MemberI totally agree with Shadow. There should not be any reason for somebody to use anything except SQLyog to work with their MySQL server.
We plan to completely re-write the User Management option to make it MySQL 4.1.x and 5.x compatible.
Ritesh
MemberWhich option are you using?
In Export As SQL Dump window, SQLyog will throw a warning if there are no table(s) selected.
Can you post a screenshot of the window?
Ritesh
MemberBug confirmed.

MemberCurrently there is no option in SQLyog to generate backward compatible dumps.

Membermub wrote on Jun 3 2005, 07:02 AM:I am using SQLyog's free version on my machine (running on LAN). It is not connecting to database that is remotly located but it gets connected to database on my local machine. On other machines (with real IP) in the network connection to the remote database is working. Do I really need a real IP for my machine to connect to remote database or there is any other setting change that can work out the problem.Any suggestion/idea?
Can you tell us the error you are getting?

MemberHello,
We are interested to take this forward. We need some assistance from you to create your environment at our place.
Could you help us in the following?
– How to configure MySQL for Japanese?
– How to display Japanese in Windows when your default language is English?
– CREATE TABLE SQL for a sample table
– Sample Data
– Expected output in SQLyog

This is an issue with your MySQL settings rather then SQLyog.
Ritesh
MemberNo. There is no way to re-start an import process. 🙁
Ritesh
MemberFirst of all you dont need to specify the word WHERE in the where clause. SJA will automatically add WHERE.
Can you strip down the problem to less number of rows so that we can work on it and fix the bug if there are any?

MemberIn the Tables list window, do you propose to show tables of Database 1 or Database 2?
