RiteshMemberQuote:I like your answer better than Cal's
Since, I work for Webyog I know what is in the TO-DO list for SQLyog.
RiteshMemberScheduled Query execution is in the TO-DO list of SQLyog 2003 😀
RiteshMemberYou can check out MySQL or RH site itself. Doing a search in the MySQL Mailing List archive might help you.
Google should provide you with more information.
RiteshMemberQuote:If SQLyog will not allow you to specify more than 1 code in the line termination box then THIS is an issue they should deal with. You can specify more then one code in the line termination box. Most often for Windows file, it will be rn
RiteshMemberYou can specify the Escape Characters in your Text/CSV file by clicking on the Change… button in the Import From CSV File… Dialog box.
If the lines are terminated by CRLF then you can give rn in the Lines Terminated By… field and SQLyog will correctly import your data.
Quote:The default separation character is t but text file extension used is CSV (comma separated value). It's confusing but I can live with that. Its like that because it is common among developer/administrators to export data where fields are separated by t 😀
RiteshMemberConfirmed.
Will be fixed in SQLyog 3.1 final release.
RiteshMemberYou cannot connect to a MySQL server behind a firewall.
RiteshMemberQuote:going back to the SQLyog Help File page on the siteSave the file on your local hard disk 😀
RiteshMemberSorry to say, but I am not able to understand your problem.
RiteshMemberThe feature is in our TO-DO list.
RiteshMemberQUOTE can link the mysql tables into access from >File>Get External Data>Link Tables, but the other way around, i can't! You cannot do that in MySQL.
RiteshMemberYes, you need to use the ODBC driver for text files.
You can also try the CSV import option available in SQLyog.
RiteshMemberI am not sure whether I understood your problem correctly.
QUOTE i'm really going nuts on finding this thing about linking the MySQL table to an Access table. Do you mean using Access to work with MySQL?
RiteshMemberAs of now, we dont have any plans to support Interbase/Firebird.
RiteshMemberWe will inform you when the Beta is ready. Our development team is working on SQLyog 3.1
