Participantto clarify:
MONyog will give you:
1) information that will help you to configure the server. With 'shared' hosting server configuration is not a option for users (unles it is a 'dedicated' server or a 'virtualized' server). Also problems – for instance a high rate of 'full table scans' will be for the complete server – and if 100 users share one server it will not be much use for a single user to know the issues of all users.
2) information that will help you improve your queries. That part of it will normally work – but may even as well be tested on a local server.

Participantyes .. issue confirmed.
This happens basically because of HTML formatting.
I hope that on Monday or Tuesday we can have 'architected' the fix and give an estimate of how much time it will take to implement.

ParticipantIf you are using common cheap shared hosting you will not be allowed to install on the server.
Also here MONyog will not give you much information that you can use, as MONyog reports counters and gives advisors for server configuration for the SERVER .. not for the USER.
To try out MONyog it would be a better idea I think to install a MySQL server as well as MONyog locally

ParticipantCan you confirm that you are using SSH connection to one or both servers?

ParticipantThis is fixed in beta 4 code trunk! We will release very soon!
Please report everything! also with early betas!
peterlaursen
Participantyes!
You will have to use the BLOB viewer for such data. The square indicates a non-printable character.
peterlaursen
ParticipantAgreed. That should be simple to add.
We should also improve the formatting (at least use more linebreaks).
I added this request here:

ParticipantI understand the problem. I can only say that we need to analyze what we can do.
Do you have any indication that its is such thing that is happening for you?

ParticipantWhat is the message that you are trying to convey?
Please use this Forum a little more responsible! You are taking other peoples time!

Participant“- connection to remote SSH server”
I think the problem may be that connection between PLINK and the SSH daemon gets broken. And SJA does not get 'lost connection' from the compiled-in client API.
So SJA simply may just be waiting …
A similar issue has been confirmed for Vista, but maybe that also appiles to 2003!
MySQL bug report: http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=31109
We should test that, but you are welcome too!

Participantdid you try 6.1 beta3?
peterlaursen
Participant1) You should try MONyog to see what it does with PROCESSLIST
2) Autocompletion is included in SQLyog ENTERPRISE. (= intellisense ?? )
3) We agree that some windows should be resizable and non-modal (for instance while a CREATE TABLE dialogue is open it should be possible to go back to the program main window)
peterlaursen
ParticipantAlso please try latest 6.1 beta release.
peterlaursen
ParticipantIt seems to be too late!
It IS fixed for me with beta3 – and it also should be! Please try!
peterlaursen
ParticipantMy mistake. Not yet fixed in beta3! 😡
