Ok, I will do so. What´s your real name then?

What name should I put in the credits?
larsenParticipantHi,
anything new to this? If you could provide me with the NSIS script, I would be happy to implement the needed memento settings.
Lars
larsenParticipantThanks for the bug ID. I thought that this must be possible so I didn´t even bother to search for it.

Yes, that´s right. I just want to duplicate an account for another IP without the need to lookup the password. This is necessary when configuring a dedicated server and I want to automate as much as possible so I just have to execute the commands (via copy&paste) and not type anything manually. Therefore, I simply copy the hash value.
Thanks for the workaround! Had almost forgotten about that way 😉

January 14, 2012 at 7:36 pm in reply to: [Offtopic]: Looking For Translation For Open Source Project #33022larsenParticipantThanks a lot for the quick translation!!!
If you ever happen to come to Hamburg, I will gladly invite you to a (or two, three…) nice cold beer at the “Alster”!
It would be totally sufficient to have Hindi – please don´t make so much effort =)
btw: only the lines starting with “x” need to be translated, the lines below the “explanation” are there only as an explanation for a better understanding in a context.
January 14, 2012 at 11:43 am in reply to: [Offtopic]: Looking For Translation For Open Source Project #33020larsenParticipantI forgot the strings from the installer…
January 14, 2012 at 10:01 am in reply to: [Offtopic]: Looking For Translation For Open Source Project #33019larsenParticipantWow! I had no idea that there are so many languages involved, although having heard of some of the locations you mentioned. Thanks for the insight =)
I have attached a zip file containing a text file that contains the strings to be translated together with some explanations to hopefully better understand the context.
Thanks in advance,
Lars
larsenParticipantHi,
I also posted this in the bug, but haven´t gotten a response so far:
I would like to implement this feature, but it seems the installer is not part of the SVN repository. Could you please provide me with the needed files?

January 4, 2012 at 11:32 am in reply to: "flush Privileges" Missing After "rename User" Command #31910larsenParticipantCool, thx!
As always, it´s a pleasure reporting bugs/workarounds here 😉
January 2, 2012 at 5:39 pm in reply to: "flush Privileges" Missing After "rename User" Command #31908larsenParticipantYes, saving after every rename action would be better. For example: We have a user for a service (used by a customer) that is allowed to connect from one IP. When the IP changes, I would change it via the user manager too and without closing the dialog I would first check, if the service can connect again.
The problem I see is that the user normally assumes that pressing “save” is all he has to do. It´s common that after saving, everything works (well, most of the time ;-)).
January 2, 2012 at 3:22 pm in reply to: "flush Privileges" Missing After "rename User" Command #31906larsenParticipantCool, thanks!
To clarify: The flush will occur on closing the dialog and not after saving a user? I guess some people (including me) might have the dialog open, change and save something, not close the dialog, and test if the change worked (which it wouldn´t when the flush occurs later).
January 2, 2012 at 1:08 pm in reply to: "flush Privileges" Missing After "rename User" Command #31904larsenParticipantYes, I know that it is a bug in MySQL and the real problem is the old version, of course. Though, if it can be worked around by SQLyog and FLUSH PRIVILEGES after a RENAME (using SQLyogs user manager; this doesn´t use GRANT/REVOKE as far as I could see in the history tab!) and this doesn´t cause other problems, this would be nice.
