    I am also having this same problem. Also using MariaDB except on Windows.

    SQLyog version: 1.3.1.7
    Windows: 10 1809 x64
    MariaDB: 10.4.5

    For me, this only happens after SQLyog has been open for a while–typically overnight. If I close SQLyog and reopen it, I can copy the database just fine. I don’t have to restart MariaDB or anything–only SQLyog.

    We use a number of commercial programs that have built-in automatic updaters. The two that I can think of off the top of my head are PhpStorm and DisplayFusion. Couldn’t you just send the encrypted license key to your customer portal, and if the key/license is still valid, just allow SQLyog to download the latest version?
