Bad Handshake using database copy function

When trying to copy databases to or from a fresh MariaDB 10.3.18 intallation, it fails immediately with Error No. 1043: Bad Handshake. I’ve tried it with multiple installs and had the same problem. All other functionality works fine. These are both direct connections to the database, with no tunneling. The same operations work fine in MariaDB 10.2.

SQLYog version: 13.1.5
Database OS Version: Debian 10 (Buster)
MariaDB version: 10.3.18-MariaDB-0+deb10u1

I am also having this same problem. Also using MariaDB except on Windows.

SQLyog version: 1.3.1.7
Windows: 10 1809 x64
MariaDB: 10.4.5

For me, this only happens after SQLyog has been open for a while–typically overnight. If I close SQLyog and reopen it, I can copy the database just fine. I don’t have to restart MariaDB or anything–only SQLyog.
