New version of monyog, new host, same problem. Can’t get it to start up on port 80.

JoeGibbsMemberPeter,
Since we are running a tarfile install on Linux we will make a backup of the entire software directory along with the data directory. We can restore them if needed. There might be a data gap but that is better than no data.
Joe
JoeGibbsMemberThanks for the update.

The –version switch will be appreciated by those that don’t want to actually start and configure a program to determine the version.
Thanks for the reply.

I do know that the version string is in the log file. but that doesn’t help me answer the question as to which version the binary is before startup up a monyog instance.

JoeGibbsMemberThose links seems to require me to use my gmail account to access them. I do not like that. What if I didn’t have a Gmail account? Does that mean that I can’t view the notes for this issue ??
Joe
JoeGibbsMemberAs far as I can tell there is nothing else running on this VM expect for monyog. I will dig into the issue more this week and send back a reply.

JoeGibbsMemberHi
Please close this one. Seems our email relay server had some odd screening rules in place.
Joe
JoeGibbsMemberThanks for the reply. Am in discussions with the SA about confirming the data results. We are suspicious of the numbers and might be back on this topic.
Joe
JoeGibbsMemberWe are interested in this part “and calculates”. Exactly how is this done. I will need to confirm the results in order to answer Managements questions on this topic.
Thanks.
Joe
JoeGibbsMemberHI
I did some more digging and the Linux server was doing a log of paging. We will be restarting it later today.
This can be closed.
