We use Microsoft Security essentials for that.
Strange thing is that the file is not present in that directory, i will look in to it further with the IT manager
and post the progress here. Very anoying because i can not work with it now without installing all my back upped connections.
Thank you for now Peter…
chilmMemberI have had (and still do have) the exact same problems.
I had them on XP and now on Windows 7
After my last update (Ultimate 11.25 64bit) the user interface has resets it self to Twilight (?????) and it loaded an old sqlyog.ini
ALL MY RECENT DATA was lost.
This is not the first time this happens after an update.
Where does SqlYog stores it's ini file on Windows 7, I and also the IT manager can not find it on my machine any more.
But it has to be there because it is loading an old one, but from where on?
This is becoming a bit a setback on the software now…
chilmMemberO.k. Peter i will,
thank you.
chilmMemberI mean this tabs, focus is jumping to first opened tab when connecting to new db (not allways that is the problem).
It happens randomly.

Maybe some other program (like an indexing tool, a virus scanner) has locked the drive!
Problem solved now. I installed the latest version (7.02) and the problem did not occur now.
The version i was using was version 6.52.
Thnx for the swift reply's, great product will never ever go without it. 😀
chilmMemberpeterlaursen wrote on Apr 10 2008, 12:52 PM:Please try 6.5x. Those dialogues were completely redesigned. Now you check/uncheck the 'table tree root node'.I AM using version 6.5.2 and what i mean is that you have to check uncheck the tables 1 table at a time.
In the earlier versions there was a button “uncheck all” and “check all” and that button is gone now, why is that?

I quote from the help file:
Please try the different options. I think 'urlencode' may be required for you!
Great fast reply, thnx.

Hello there hard workers,
installed version 6.13 and putted my old ini(.bak) in to the new ini file, but still the same problem.
That means no connection details whatsoever, i am working the whole day with MySql db's local and remote so i have got a BIG problem now.
What to do?
And something else for the latter… the e-mail notification of reply's from this forum does not seem to work.

I thought i am clever and copy the content of sqlyog.bak.ini to sqlyog.ini but nothing happened no stored connections at all.
I have been upgrading about 5 times now and this never happened before, i am NOT amused.
What to do guys? it is such great and timesaving software and i use it all day's.
