    @tyrathect:

    You are right. PK authentication is not supported right now. However, we plan to build it in near future.

    I think any C++ compiler and Win32 SDK can be used to compile SQLyog.

    We have been using VS.NET for the last few years. Someone just needs to port the project settings ( *.vcproj) to various IDEs / makefile.

    HTTPS is definitely supported, and many customers use it regularly.

    I think Peter got confused with the SSL encryption provided by MySQL APIs.

    But, I am not sure whether SQLyog will be able to handle a certificate. We have to set a similar environment to test it.

    : Can you help us accelerate the test/debug by giving us temporary access to a test server having a similar setup.

    If yes, please create a ticket at http://www.webyog.com/support

    You post seems fishy! :ph34r:

    Let me start by saying that I believe you:

    1) We don't have any issues in refunding the money. You can ask for a refund anytime! We have had just 1 refund request in the history of SQLyog!

    2) Could you post the sample script? I promise to post the profile results of both the products in this “public” forum.

    3) Structure Sync – Could you tell us the EXACT problems? Your “generic”, “ambiguous” and “negative” comments wont help any of us

    Thank you for your encouraging comments 🙂

    What you require is called “roles” in other database systems. We believe that it is a server functionality and MySQL AB would implement it at some point in time.

    Bascially we want to avoid building functionality that is “best done” by the server!
