That was a bug in one of the previous RCs. SQLyog 3.61 fixes it and it will always create the log in the installation directory.

MemberIt is happening because those values are present in SQLyog.ini ( as there was a bug in the previous version ).
Just delete SQLyog.ini from the installation directory and restart SQLyog. SQLyog will take up the default values.

MemberWe do have plans for that but not in 3.6.

MemberASP is a server side scripting language like PHP whereas SQLyog is GUI for MySQL.
If you are using ASP with MySQL, then I guess SQLyog is the answer for MySQL GUI.
Which database do you plan to use with ASP?
