    OK .. this is still the problem. I thought that was solved.

    If you are sure the program version and the file version 'match' that should all.

    Link to beta4 from here: http://www.webyog.com/forums/index.php?sho…view=getnewpost

    It should solve your problem. However fixes only one-byte charsets.

    Yes, indeed. This version fixes this issue.

    @ritesh
    .. you got mail!

    The BETA 4 solution has the side-effect that non-ASCII characters in unicode (utf8,ucs2) databases won't work with SQLyog anymore. Not even with direct connection … πŸ™

    Still some 'nice work' to be done ….

    then you should not receive TUNNEL version mismatch error.

    is not the issue now. It is history! Now he just can't connect, I think.

    Nothing strange .. if he does not provide a name server alias that the routing system on the remote netowrk as an alias for the MySQL server, than it is not at all strange that he cannot connect!

    @Cirunz
    : what is your EXACT problem NOW ?

    if I try to execute connection it say that I've to buy the Enterprise version to use tunneling, but at least it pass the test.

    This is what the free version does. The Enterprise trial should connect and work for a month.

    Maybe the webserver/php/mysql versions on the first server to cause the error?

    Some network configuration thing. If you get the error 'Coul not connect …' it most likely is the hostnmae that is wrong. 'Localhost' won't always work. You may need to use a name server alias for the MySQL server on the remote network.

    I thinks SQLyog 5.1 BETA 4 solves this.

    Can you confirm?

    This issue is no longer reproducable with SQLyog 5.1 BETA 4.

    What fixed it ?

    yes it does!

    But I don't get the error message. Only a HTTP error.

    Is 5.11 truncated to 5.1 somewhere ??

    @Cal

    did you get the point of the discussion?

    When something is highlighted in editor it does not work. We all agree on that and that will be fixed.

    Did you experience the same thing when there was nothing highlighted?

    Well yes .. a truly multithreaded STOP would be nice. Could be a keyboard shortcut only.

    Yeah – I can see that now πŸ™‚

    Got it .. but it identifies itself as BETA 4!

    I believe that the 10-based number system was invented in India some thousand years ago … but they seem to have forgot … πŸ˜›

    But who can remember that long back … πŸ˜†

    uload the archive .php to a Web

    What file are you talking about? There is only one .php file – it is the SQLyogtunnel.php that you'll find in SQLyog installation folder. This one should be uploaded to your webiste.

    Quote:
    says that it updates.php

    Looks like you are mismatching SQLyog with some php-based web-application. The SQLyog tunnelling file only lets you do tunnelling from SQLyog and SJA ..

    Sorry, but this is not understandable!

    You will simply have to explain better what you are doing, if we shall be able to understand.

    Probably he is verifying for himself right now. Such fixes usually come fast.

    The red stop icon only appears if you start you query with the curser at the beginning of the line and the query window only contains 1 query

    I am not quite sure I understand. I can place curser in any position and it works

    Quote:
    Does not seem to work if you have multiple or highlighted queries

    If I have multiple queries and use the 'double green arrow' icon or SHIFT+F5 it still works here

    But I confirm that it does not works with highlighted queries! And this I must consider a bug.
