Participantwell .. now you can add a string like
“Compiled by FIRESTORM for FIRESTORM”
somewhere to you own personal copy! If you can find out where to add it! I can't!

Participantjust let me add tht we had the same issue with Wine since 5.1 so if this could be fixed in 'the same round' it would be nice!

ParticipantI have bookmarked this page and did not forget you!
Now as beta2 was out today, we should be able to give this one more attention!

ParticipantWill the 'my.ini' from the fast machine work on the slow machine?
I think we should try if the reason for this in in MySQL configuration by 'reversing the files' if possible.
Is (various types of) logging and/or debugging enabled on the slow server?
Any idea if it could be network related? bad cable and such trivial things?

ParticipantPlease check issue 1 and 6 here:
http://code.google.com/p/sqlyog/issues/lis…e+Owner+Summary

ParticipantWe started querying I_S with SQLyog ver. 5 when we introduced support for VIEWS,
.. WHERE .. `TABLE_TYPE` = 'BASE TABLE'
and
.. WHERE … `TABLE_TYPE` = 'VIEW'
lists the TABLES AND VIEWS respectively.

ParticipantFrom 5.2 beta2 this 'Show all' checkbox will disable when you switch table.
We will also provide a 'stop loading' option with the DATA tab. But not sure it will be in Beta2 as we need to release tomorow (we have a customer that cannot wait longer for a fix).

ParticipantI thought 'the other one' referred to
http://www.webyog.com/forums//index.php?sh…view=getnewpost
“The webserver has a selfsigned certificate and the browser asks if the user wants to trust it. Maybe this is a problem?”
BTW: I am the most confused! I am ALWAYS the MOST …

Participant@Rohit …
Looks like you and Sabya better find out how to set up a certificate with a webserver! 😀
and BTW: there was a thing with SSH and PUBLIC/PRIVATE KEY authentication too!

Participantthe other one: wait for someone who can give a better explanation.
I personally don't have any idea about certificates!

ParticipantI will ask some more 'techno' to reply on the HTTPS-thing

ParticipantWe do not support SSL with SQLyog as of now.
There was at an early stage, but it was removed (as I understood due to US export restrictions amd legal issues). This is a general problem. Also SSL support was removed from the Windows version of the MySQL server for a long period and has only been introduced recently.
I also think that we can now.
To my best understanding this is not HTTP-related at all. Also direct connection ussing SSL would fail (if there was an option to choose it of course!). Correct me if I am wrong!
