Hi,
We have implemented 'reconnects' in latest 8.13 RC,
“SQLyog reconnects are now coded differently. The new code means that with SSH-tunnel it will now not be necessary to re-instantiate PLINK (the running PLINK instance will be used).”
We are looking into this issue and update once done.
BTW please tell us which SQLyog version you are using and try with latest 8.13 RC from our Downloads and confirm whether issue still persists?

navyashree.rMemberHi,
From SQLyog version 7.1 we have implemented “Resizing dialogs for BLOB and TEXT fields”.
Our release notes says,
http://www.webyog.com/blog/2008/09/19/sqly…-been-released/
'BLOB viewer and the program dialogues for schema sync, create/alter table, manage indexes (including sub-dialogues) manage foreign keys (including sub-dialogues) and manage privileges are now resizable. From now resizable dialogues have a 'gripper' icon in right bottom corner.'
So, could you please tell which SQLyog version you are using?
Thank You.

navyashree.rMemberWe tried with your data. Its working fine at our end.
We tried with 'Backup Database As SQL dump' and powertool 'Schedule Backup' to export data from our latest SQLyog 8.12. We even ran a testcase in SQLyog 5.22 it is also displaying 'DATES' column correctly which we are not supporting.
So could you please try TRIAL from our Downloads page,

Currently we don't.This is added here,

2013 error is describe briefly in MySQL docs,
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/err…_cr_server_lost
“Lost connection to MySQL server during query”
One more FAQ link:
http://www.webyog.com/faq/content/16/66/en…-at-an-isp.html
Quote:I got the occasional error 2006 (MySQL server has gone away)The 'gone away' error message. It is likely because you have a row that is larger than the 'max_allowed_packet' setting in server configuration. If you have access to server configuration try insert this line in the [mysqld] section of the server configuration file on the
server max_allowed_packet = 100M
(default is as low as 1M if not explicitly set)
… and restart the server for the change in configuration to take effect. The setting defines the max. length size of a SQL-statement that the server will allow a client to send. If it is exceeded the server will drop the connection to the client.
The error message is explained in MySQL documentation here:
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/gone-away.html

“Non-column results (like functions, expressions etc.) were affected by column-width persistence feature what they should not (it had weird effects sometimes).” which was a bug in 8.12.
Now fixed in 8.13. Please try 8.13 beta3 from our downloads page,
