    I uninstalled/reinstalled SQLYog and that seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks for your help.

    It happens every time I open a file. I just opened a file that is 48 KB and it’s spinning. I also opened a file that is 1 KB and it does the same thing. It doesn’t matter what size the file is, it takes the same amount of time to open.

     

    I do File -> Open 

    Locate my file in Explorer

    Click Open

    Then my IDE is blank and my mouse spins until the file opens.

    I understand that's how I can select the line but I'm used to the way it worked before and accidentally fold my code instead. I really don't want the code folding at all and would like to disable that feature. Is that possible? Thanks for the reply.
