We have not been able to reproduce this issue when upgrading to 11.4. I think you are correct – this is not related to the installer.

SQLYog does crash frequently.  I suspect that the sessions might have been deleted during one of the unexpected application crashes.

I can not provide any of the core dump files.

SQLYog was installed on a local disk. I do not have snapshot, shallow copy, or any offline caching enabled on my workstation. The saved sessions that it deleted were not the the last or first X sessions that I had added.

Sorry I can not provide any of the core dump files.

The issue was not a display issue when upgrading to 11.4. I found that all but 30 of my saved sessions have been deleted from the SQLyog ini file. I verified this in the ini file and I also added a new session through the user interface. When I added a new session: the scrollbar came back, the session was added to the drop down and the ini file was updated. I have not been able to reproduce this problem on other systems.

I have been using SQLYog for years now and it has recently (past 2 years) become unstable. It has crashed on multiple systems many times in the past but it has never before corrupted my data before this incident.

I am no longer using this tool.

Thank you Peter for your support. I have always been pleased with the responsiveness of Webyog’s customer service.

Thanks for the reply and providing me with an earlier version of SQLYog.

After downgrading SQLYog I found that version 11.4 was not unusable… it had just deleted all of my saved sessions when I installed it. I’ve replied to your email and will update my other related post with details.

I would still like access to previous versions of SQLyog. It is inconvenient to contact customer support for previous versions.
