      I have installed the program but know not what to do with it.

      Is this program like phpMyAdmin?

      SQLyog has been specially designed to work on remote connections.

      In the connection dialog box just give your Remote MySQL server details instead of Localhost details.

      😉 Yupt, SQLyog is really a cool tool for me to manage all my SQL databses. I love it 🙂

      How do you connect remotely if your website is hosted on a shared server? For me, simply having the IP address is not enough; I also need to be able to input the location of the MySQL socket, and SQLyog does not allow me to do this as far as I can tell.
