MONyog 3.65 running on Linux CentOS 4.7 (64 bit, Kernel 2.6.9-78.0.22ELsmp) runs successfully for days.. at least a month, then stops running with the following segfault in syslog:

      kernel: MONyog-bin segfault at 0000000000000008 rip 0000002a955acd00 rsp 000000004fa15250 error 4

Thought a previous version may have fixed it but we are still running into this condition every now and then. Is there anything else I can do to monitor the application to help debug the issue?

      Thank you for your time.

      Please read: http://www.webyog.com/blog/2010/02/25/monyog-mysql-monitor-3-72-beta-1-has-been-released/

      Quote:
We had a few reports of random crashes (typically occurring up to a few times per week) occurring on recent 64 bit CentOS servers and in one case also a RHEL5. The glibc 2.5-based build fixes this.

.. so please upgrade to 3.72/glibc 2.5 build. You can install on top of what you have with the rpm command or any rpm packet manager.

Furthermore, the new versions of MONyog will create a core dump in the event of a crash. You'll find the core dump in

      Code:
      /usr/local/MONyog/bin/

(by default; when MONyog is installed using the RPM pacakge).

Should you ever come across another crash of the sort, please do report it (with the crash dump) to http://www.webyog.com/support/
