      Hi,

      The help file for FK describes parent and child tables, which makes sence.

      In the “edit relationship” dialog, it appears the 'source' is a child which is also refered to as the 'current table', and the parent is the 'destination' which is also refered to as the 'referenced table'.

      then the help file can read “changes will not be allowed to a parent if it effects a child”, simple to understand.

      Can this not simply be changed to parent and child ??

      It looks like you have a point.  Documentation and the interface should be consistent and the terms used should be Standard SQL terms or MySQL terms (in case they are  not the same) and not 'homemade' terms.

      Please give us a few days to discuss this.

      Im trying to learn MySQL and this just confused me to bits !
