I'm monitoring about 20 MySQL servers with MONyog 4.12 and the emails generated are considerable. I'd like a way to segregate/classify the alerts by severity – for example, send an email only if the alert is CRITICAL or send the email to a different address so that these emails can be forwarded to my phone for quick notification. Right now, if I send the emails to my phone I get emails around the clock, and only one or two a week require my immediate attention.

      Thanks,

      Paul

“send an email only if the alert is CRITICAL” .. that is what we do actually. What is defined as critical will display a 'red dot alert' in the web interface and send a mail or trap alert (if mail/trap alert is ON for that counter).

Please confirm that you understand how to change the 'critical alert level' for a counter and how to turn off/on email alerts for counters. If you are not familiar with this I think we should start here.
