      I'm trying to connect to a MySQL server but each time I'm getting a 1045 Access denied for user.

      I already set the Host in the users table to % instead of localhost.

      Does anyone have an idea?

      SQLyog does not support connecting through a firewall 🙁

      For what it's worth, I've had a lot of trouble getting MySQL version 3.anything to actually handle the % value for mysql.host.host entries.
