spent hours looking for a converter Access to mySQL

yog is the first one that actually seems to work OK but

import from Access97 [win98 myODBC ] to mySQL

      Access Date/Time goes to varchar(25)

the data is there in this format: yyy-mm-dd hh mm ss

so I goes in with MyFrontEnd (thankyou Hubert Denkmair) and change fields to DATETIME where necessary

      -this fixes this problem

so if yog could do this automatically it would be Terrfic instead of merely Great

This is happening because the ODBC driver for Access returns SQLyog the information.

You can change a COLUMN datatype, by clicking on the Transform BUTTON in Select Table(s) box of the ODBC Import Wizard tool.
