    Has there been any progress on this issue?

    The same thing is happening to me.:

    Error No. 1064^M

    SQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'Ã<8f>^SBÃ<8f>^SB' at line 1

    I use a cryus IMAP installation, and the database that is giving me trouble is used to authenticate IMAP users, the data basicaly is usernames and addresses and passwords

    I am running Mysql 4.0.15, on a RedHat 8.0 installation. I- I don't know how to tell which records specifically are causing the problem. Ot is happening on four records out of about 3000.

    Your problem is probably not with SJA. Make sure your ISP/Host does not have port 3306 (mysql default) port blocked via a firewall. Also make sure your MySQL user has permissions to access the dtabasefrom a remote host. Often hosting companies willl setup your mysql user so it can only connect to the databse from the localhost or a specific host . You should check witht he hosting comapny first.
