Thanks
southcotMemberJust wait and see I guess
southcotMemberI have just tried to run the command to take a screen shot of the error and miraculously it has worked. Given I have changed nothing my end, including not having closed SQLyog or rebooted my machine since I started this ticket I can only surmise something has changed at the hosting end. Thanks for all the help
southcotMemberI’ll have to do the error screenshot and testing the mysql command line later. However executing “SWO GRANTS;” :-
1 queries executed, 0 success, 1 errors, 0 warnings
Query: SWO GRANTS
Error Code: 1064
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘SWO GRANTS’ at line 1later,
southcotMemberI’m not i’m simply connectingi via IP address
southcotMember“Variable_name” “Value”
“local_infile” “ON”
southcotMemberAny news on this, I can't see it in:-
http://faq.webyog.com//content/33/7/en/sqlyog-version-history.html
southcotMemberI have posted this on a php/MySQL forum.
southcotMemberWarning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'xxxxxxxxx'@'xxxxxxxxxxxxxx' (using password: YES)
But if I change the username and password and switch to another DB on that server then it connects.
southcotMemberThanks
southcotMemberNo problem thanks for posting back so quickly. the body of the mail includes a “tables backed up successfully” statement, that is all we can rely on anyway; so perhaps the trigger that produces that result would be fine for the subject line too?
southcotMemberWas this abandoned as an option. I back up many DBs each night and for me it would save an enormous amount of time.
southcotMemberRebooting the box has resolved the crashing.
southcotMemberNot sure this is related but went to start SQLYog this morning and it crashes as soon as it starts:-
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: SQLyogEnt.exe
Application Version: 1.0.0.1
Application Timestamp: 4adf038c
Fault Module Name: unknown
Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0
Fault Module Timestamp: 00000000
Exception Code: c0000005
Exception Offset: 7673353f
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.48
Locale ID: 2057
southcotMemberI use Sophos. I checked the event log for anything that might have told me what the error message was but there's nothing – nothing in the Sophos log either. At the time I wasn't concentrating as I was trying to finish a project. Could kick myself for not grabbing it.
