    Hello,

Could you please let us know what version of SQLyog are you using?

There was a fix in V11.12. Quoting from version history

    Quote:
Autocomplete would sometimes hang or crash while editing stored procedures. This bug was introduced in v11.0.

So if you are using SQLyog version less than 11.12 please upgrade to the latest version and check if it is reproducible.

You can use -dir option to change location of the default folder for favourites, but this will save sqlyog.ini and all writable files will be saved in that folder. Please refer: https://static.webyog.com/docs/SQLyog/Specifying_SQLyog_data_folder_for_SQLyog_MySQL_GUI.htm

    Hello,

Could you please let us know what is the MySQL server version ( SELECT VERSION(); )?

Also could provide us a sample data where this is reproducible?

    Hello,

This could be because of a very low 'max_allowed_packet' setting on the server. You would need to increase the max_allowed_packet of the server. To change max_allowed_packet, open my.ini/my.cnf. Under [mysqld] section, change max_allowed_packet to a value higher than the size of the largest row of data you require, and restart the server. For example if max_allowed_packet=1M then increase it to 32M.

    Please refer: http://blog.webyog.c…allowed_packet/

Please execute: SHOW VARIABLES LIKE 'max_allowed_packet'; and paste the result here?

    Hello,

We have checked this. This is not a trivial fix. We will not be able to add it in this release. I have added it in our issue tracker here: https://code.google…./detail?id=1949 We will schedule this according to priority.

    Hello,

64 bit binaries will only work with 64 bit drivers and 32 bit binaries will work with 32 bit drivers. You can download the 32 bit version of SQLyog (which is the same as the 64 bit version in terms of functionality) which will work with 32 bit drivers. For more details, please refer to this blog post http://blog.webyog.com/2013/01/31/sqlyog-mysql-gui-11-0-beta-1-released/ Also you can have both 64 bit and 32 bit binaries installed in the same machine.

    Hello,

Please refer this FAQ which would be helpful for you in defining TIMESTAMPs for CREATE TABLE and ALTER TABLE : http://faq.webyog.com/content/8/159/en/how-do-i-define-timestamp-properties-with-sqlyog.html
