    This is a known bug and will be fixed in 4.03 FINAL.

    Currrently, there is no way to do it from a graphical option.

    You will need to execute select count(*) from tablename to get the details.

    Support for proxy is under development. We will be releasing v4.03 soon that will have HTTP tunneling over proxy server.

    Is it possible to change the table type to MyISAM and attach me the corresponding .frm, .myi and .myd file for the table? You can get them in the {mysql data directory/database/} folder.

    You dont have to do anything.

    Starting from v4.02, SQLyog will automatically check the server encoding and change the client encoding accordingly.

    As you are using v4.0, I will suggest you to download and install v4.02 of SQLyog.

    This feature is planned for SQLyog v4.1.
