The image viewer does not support .tif format. It only supports .jpg, .gif and .bmp as of now.

Yes. SQLyog's ODBC Import Tool is what you require.

It depends. I think that SQLyog ODBC Import wizard will be a better option as the scripts might not be MySQL compatible. If you are sure that the scripts are indeed MySQL compatible then they are a better option.

Its a known PHP issue. I think you need to compile PHP with the latest MySQL client support.

SQLyog's ODBC Import Wizard does not support Views as of now. We are in the process of rewriting our ODBC Import feature in v4.1.

SQLyog v4.1 FINAL will have support for Views.
