Memberpeterlaursen wrote on Jun 21 2005, 09:29 PM:Testing this issue I came across another bug (4.07).to reproduce:
1) select a table in the Object Browser
2) click data tab
3) check “show all”
4) click messages tab
5) click data tab again.
… and the program starts working like mad without nothing happening. You'll have to stop the Sqlyog proces from tray or task manager.
How many rows of data are there in the table?

You can use FREE and Enterprise version side-by-side without any problem.
Can you mail me sqlyog.ini found in the installation directory of SQLyog Enterprise?

MemberStored Proc/Views are planned for v4.2. We expect the first BETA of v4.2 to be released in 1.5 months.

MemberWe have already implemented this feature in v4.07 development tree. Starting from v4.07, SQLyog will try to reconnect one time if it the MySQL server returns the error: Lost connection to server during query error.

MemberBug confirmed and fixed in v4.07 development tree.

MemberAre you sure that you dont have any tunneling option enabled?
Ritesh
MemberI was able to connect to your server using SQLyog Enterprise. I also took the liberty of creating a test table called tablename1.
@peterlaursen: Can you check the above connection details?Ritesh
MemberQuote:There is no way to do something that now, I think ??Currently you have to run two sepate jobs to perform the job.
With that I would like to say that this feature is in our TO-DO list but a little down.

MemberThis is very strange. I have never heard about an issue like this before.
Are you sure that you are giving the same details in both the versions?
Can I get temporary access to the MySQL server?
Ritesh
MemberChange your local port to 3307 and try again.
I believe that you have a MySQL server running on your local machine listening on port 3306.
Ritesh
MemberWhat is the local port value you are providing in your SSH Tunnel option?
Ritesh
MemberVery strange.
Can you set me up a sample email account on the server with similar settings like yours and mail me the details? It will be very helpful in fixing any bugs in SQLyog (if there are any).

MemberQuote:And I could add then: if the WHERE returns the same data on both hosts, (all rows of) data will be compared, and in case they differ an UPDATION will take place. Right ?Yes 😀
Quote:ROW_SELECTION, the SQL_WHERE, and the PK at the same time. Or does it ?I am confused about what you mean by ROW_SELECTION.
