Sorry for my ignorance but I am unable to understand what you meant?

MemberThis issue has already been fixed in our 3.8 development tree. From 3.8, SQLyog will put backticks around all object names.
Still it is advised that you dont use MySQL keywords as db,table, index etc. names 🙂
Ritesh
MemberHave you unchecked the option Truncate column headers to Max. data size in Tools -> Preferences?
Ritesh
MemberAre you able to connect to above MySQL servers using the MySQL CLI tool with same parameters?

MemberThe Linux version of SJA is FREE. For Windows, you need to purchase SQLyog.
SJA generates checksums to find changes between the two databases. It only transfers the checksum values over the network.
Quote:So does it resync the whole DB? Or just the updatesJust the updates. After checking the checksums it only transfers data that needs to be updated.
Quote:Basically is it something I can run every couple of minutes?Yes.

MemberI guess you have to try:
./sja sja-sample1.xml

MemberThats strange. Are you sure you dont have any PERSONAL FIREWALL installed on your PC?
Recently one of our customers was not able to connect due to the above reason.
Ritesh
MemberCurrently SQLyog does not provide you with a GUI to create STORED PROCEDURES and TRIGGERS. This features are planned for future versions of SQLyog.
Right now you have to type in SQL to create the above objects.

MemberSJA is a perfect solution for you 😀
Being a command line tool it dosnt require X.
Using CRON you can schedule SJA to be executed every 5 minutes. Make sure you are providing a correct schema file to SJA. More information on the schema file can be found at:

MemberCan you paste the complete error message?
I guess you are not giving the correct password.

MemberTable structure and a row of data would be nice 🙂 We can use them to sort out the bug (if there are any).
Also, what is the screen resolution you are working on?
Ritesh
MemberI confirm the bug. There has been some changes with the information returned by 4.1.3.
This bug will be fixed in 3.8. If you would like to beta-test 3.8 then send me a mail. I would add you in our beta testers list 😀
Ritesh
MemberOk.
I think I have a binary of 4.1.1 in my development box. Will work on it over the weekend and let you know 😀
