    Vista Forum solved the issue:

    Look in c:UsersXXXAppDataLocalVirtualStore

    That's where the files were and I could see them in Vista Explorer and deleted the ones I needed to get rid of.

    My User Account Control is already off.

    I've posted this issue over at a Vista Forum so maybe they will know what's going on.

    Sorry I wasn't clear in my first post.

    SQLyog created some DB backup files in its default folder: SQLyog Community. But when I open my Vista file manager I cannot see these backup files. In SQLyog when I select to restore those files are there to select from within SQLyog.

    I'm thinking when SQLyog creates the backup file, it tags it in some special way. I was hoping to learn what SQLyog does to its backup file to help me determine how I can see it and then delete it. Right now I can't delete the backup SQL file SQLyog creates.
