We will discuss regarding 'sorting'. Thank you.

navyashree.rMemberxpose wrote on Feb 4 2009, 12:08 AM:Prior to version 8.0, table data would adjust column length based on the longest value. This is no longer the case. By default some data cells are shorter than they should be, which cuts off data.Hi,
In recent version 8.0, we did new implementation in Table data. In Table data, if we resize the column width it takes the new resized column width and retains the same even after refresh or if sorting is done. But in older version even after resizing when we refresh it used to take default column width.
So, Can you please confirm whether the column width is displaying correctly as soon as we select Table and view table data?
And also, can you help us to know whether you resize the column width manually or not?

navyashree.rMemberYes, its the same server used in the above testcase. In Windows XP, MySQL server is local in Windows XP and in Vista 64 bit its remote server. The server used is 5.1.23v.
navyashree.rMemberHi,

navyashree.rMemberHi Karim,
I looked up the Wikipedia ERM definition (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entity-relationship_model)
“An entity-relationship model (ERM) is an abstract conceptual representation of structured data; entity-relationship modeling is the process of generating these models. The end-product of the modeling process is an entity-relationship diagram (ERD) or ER diagram, a type of conceptual data model or semantic data model.”
Well it is true that for SQLyog the end-product is not an entity-relationship diagram (ERD)… , a type of conceptual data model or semantic data model. For SQLyog the end-product is a functional database (or subset of such). However still the SQLyog SchemaXML file has the information required to create the database (that can be exported as SQL after creation).
And also regarding SQLyog with Version Control we have already have the request in our list but the priority is not yet fixed,
