MONyog is not able to read the MySQL Error Log file.

MySQL Error Log file is having world permisssion to read.

And MONyog is running on another instance.

We are using the Entreprise Edition of MONyog.

 

I logged in with different user and tried viewing the file, I was able to.

But MONyog is throwing the error.

 

“Log file path invalid: please enter correct path”

 

After fetching the Error Log path, if fetch the correct path, I used the path retrieved to CD into it to check.

 

I have also setup MYSQL service account on the server. which it’s ownership & group is mysql.

 

MySQL Error Log name is set to ‘mysql-error.log’ in all our mysql configurations.
