Then you have another bug on your hands. Let me walk you through what I saw this morning:

    1. Build a table with 7 columns. Two columns are ints and the remaining 5 columns are long text.

    2. Enter values into each of the 7 columns in Insert/Update mode

    3. Click the one of the int columns in the new record/blank row directly below it

    4. Immediately following that, click one of the long text columns and update it.

    5. Click the new record/blank row directly below it

You should see that the other 4 long text columns are blank. The one that was updated still has a value in it. Again, if you need me to send you video of this occuring, I can do so.

The bug that I mentioned above and detailed here:

    http://www.webyog.com/forums/index.php?act…ct=ST&f=6&t=551

has not been fixed. This was the main reason I purchased a license. I wanted to ensure that this particular defect would be addressed. Granted, this is not the final product, but I wanted to make you aware that you still have a problem with this one.

I purchased the software (v3.52) and this bug is not fixed. Let me walk you through it.

    1. Create a table with a long text field and an int field

    2. Type some text in the Update Blob field window and click Done. (Make sure “Set Null” is unchecked)

    3. Using the arrow keys, arrow over to the int field and enter a value.

    4. Press the down arrow to complete editing of the record.

    5. Now, arrow back up to the int field and change its value

    6. Finally, arrow back down to the empty record

This consistently clears out the text entered into the long text field and can be very frustrating. Please let me know if you can repeat it. If not, I'll send you a recording of the problem as it happens.

    * bump *

Do any of the mods have thoughts on what I can do?

Yes, I'm trying to run over to 80 to get through a firewall. Currently, I use a proxy to get out on the net, but it doesn't appear that SQLYOG supports HTTP proxies.
