Hello
I just upgraded to 3.7 from 3.63(I think). All of a sudden I can't establish a connection to several of my sites. But others I can, and they are running from the same MySQL server.
The error I get is
Error No. 1045
Acess denied for user: 'UsernameXXX…@urlXX.XX.XX.XX' (Using PASSWORD: YES)
I can use MySQLFront and I can connect to these sites with no problem!
Any Ideas!

SQLyog 3.7 is compiled with the latest client library provided with MySQL 4.1.1. This may be the reason of the problem.
Can you tell me your MySQL server version?

Hello
Version 3.23.56
All my customer databases are running off this same server. But two of them don't work now since the upgrade. The sites are running at an ISP.
Thank you for your help

Are your able to connect to this server using other tools.
Please download an old version of SQLyog i.e. SQLyog 3.64 from http://www.webyog.com/sqlyog/SQLyog364.com. Install it in a different dirctory and try to connect.

Yes, I can connect to the problem databases with MySQLFront. Also the ISP's internal web based system works also, although a very slow process.
I will try an reinstall the older version and let you know.
Thanks again for your help.

I've just installed SQLyog and I get the same error message.
The version I have is 3.51.
I've downloaded the help file to read up on the various error messages the software may produce only to find there was no help on these in the help file. Ummm……..
How did you get on with this Rob, did you get it running ?

Hello
I'm afraid I have not had time to reinstall the older version. But today I did try and download from the link Ritesh has given, and the link was bad. “Object not found”
Ritesh could you re-supply a new link for the 3.64 install and I will install and try as soon as I get it.
Thanks
Rob

The link is http://www.webyog.com/sqlyog/SQLyog364.exe and not http://www.webyog.com/sqlyog/SQLyog364.com
Please download the binary and do tell me the result.

Hello Ritesh
I have installed the 3.64 version. I have accessed the exact same mySQL databases with the exact same connection imformation by cut & paste.
Results: 3.64 works fine,
3.7 is still giving me errors as previous post.
Also, as said before, the strange thing is that several of my client databases work fine with 3.7. And these databases are served by the same server that serve the ones that don't work. Weird!
Please let me know if you need any more info.
Thanks,
rob

I think its a problem with the new client library. I will double check it and let you know.
