The source code is available for download as a zipped archive from our download page ( http://webyog.com/en/downloads.php ) and as a subversion repository from this link http://code.google.com/p/sqlyog/source .
Internally we have been using subversion for years. So we stick with that! We have chosen googlecode as the place to host the source code – at least for a start – as they have a proven infrastructure.
As a client to access it we recommend (on Windows) TortoiseCVS: http://www.tortoisecvs.org/ . For anonymous checkout with this (and similar tools) use the URL http://sqlyog.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ .
We will also use the issue tracking system on googlecode for those issues that are not specific to the Enterprise version. Issues from our existing internal system(s) (yes .. we have two actually – one that is in the process of being 'phased-out' and a 'new one') will be tranferred over the next (estimated) 1-1½ weeks.
Of course you cannot change any files with anonymous checkout. We may allow experienced developers other forms of access. Contact us through the ticket system in such case!
A personal comment from me: I am completely new to software like subversion. Teach me when I do or say something wrong! 😆
