      I'm having a bit of an issue running Sqlyog 8.22 under wine (CrossOver). All text in the message pane just shows up as less than characters:

      <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< If you copy and paste them, they actually show up as extended characters. Using 8.22 under windows connected to the same server, I have no issues. Already have the wine core fonts installed… Is there something obvious I'm missing here?

      I think  we had similar reports with CrossOver before. I believe it works fine with the open source Wine (and Darwine for MAC – refer to: http://www.manu-j.com/blog/run-sqlyog-mac-os-x-wine/148/).   But anyway let us check this.

      Yeah, you're right… works fine with the latest Wine. Odd, I know this version of CrossOver used to work with previous versions Sqlyog.
