I running an intranet site for a medical facility using sql as the DB. I have sqlyog ent. and have been very happy with the results when I sync. to dackup. My problem is that we have some remote laptops running this same system (a simplified verson of the intranet D:cool: in remote parts of the world. These laptops are synching to our main servers but have horrible connection speeds. There are some 600 + patients in the current DB and when someone makes a change to just a couple patients and synchronizes it take almost two hours. My question is can I place a time stamp in the records so that yog can see if this recrod has been updated. If the record has not changed since the last sync. just ignore it? And only synch the records that have been changed?

      Thanks in advance.
