Can SQLyog make use of SSH tunneling? I want to periodically one-way synch a remote database on a hosting companies server. The provider will probably not want to open port 3306 on the MySQL machine. Any ideas?
Is this an answer to your question ?

(see post by Ritesh at the bottom)
SSH tunneling has been extensively discussed in this forum. Please, do a little search first!
Shadow, I spent many time to search all forums there to find anything about SSH tunneling, but without any success. 😕
Maybe partially the reason can be in unabillity to serach for word shorter than 4 characters (as SSH is).
So please if anybody was more lucky than me post there links to threads.
Thanks in advance.
Tomas
What if you try, for example, the word 'tunnel'? You'll get what you are looking for…
