      My Hosting company has given me the following to put SSH2 on my linux server:

      The use SSH on your Linux account, you will need to first creat a key. The public key must be converted to IETF SECSH format and upload the results to a folder named .SSH or .SSH2

      I don't know what they are saying here. How do I create a public key and then how do I convert it to the format they want?

      Does SQLyog support SSH2 protocal? That is all my host supports.

      Yes, SQLYog supports ssh but it's beyond the scope of this forum to teach you how to use it.

      Once you get connected, you can use it to build a tunnel to the local MySQL on the server.
