I was running the Trial version for 14 days and it worked fine. I then made the mistake of purchasing the Professional version. After uninstalling the trial, and downloading and installing the full version (Why do I have to do this?) The application will not open. The first time I opened it it prompted for a key, and that was fine, but then it said “REstoring Session….” and then made that error noise and never opened. I am running the 64-bit version of SQLYog 12.1.3 on Windows 10. Again, the Trial worked fine.
I have uninstalled/re-installed/restarted about three times now and no difference. It just says “Restoring SEssion” and then closes. I can see in Task Manager that the process is actually running, but the GUI will not load.
Any ideas? I can’t find anything in event viewer or any helpful logs.
I wonder if the issue is related to it trying to “REstore the session” but I don’t know how to disable this if the application won’t even open.
