Is there any more detailed news on the expected release of SQLYog Max as described in the Product Roadmap?

We are just about at the midyear point . . .

      Thanks for a great product!

      Absolutely!

I downloaded yesterday and will start testing this weekend. Now that SQLYog will have the ability to support multiple DBs, I sincerely hope you will consider adding support for FireBird (and Interbase). Firebird is open source and has ODBC and JDBC drivers so it should be no big problem for SQLYog to connect with it!

Thanks for your continuing good work. 😀

Tried it on Fedora Core 2 and it crashed.

It would be nice to see the requirement for the program.

Do you have access to other distributions of Linux? Can you try SQLyog Max on those boxes?

When does it crash? Can you tell us the specific screen

real nice … and it's still free (although not THAT functional yet …)

everything seems OK with Mysql 4.0.20 running on WinXP.

When will you buy the MySQL company ? 😉

The only problem is that ISP's seem very conservative about allowing use of anything else than PHPadmin …

      And it's OK with 4.1.3 too 🙂

ISP access problem would be resolved in the next 6-8 weeks.

We are working on a PHP/HTTP tunneling interface for SQLyog.

When is beta 0.2 arriving?! 😉

I've tried 0.1 and it works fine on Win2k and XP, but so far the feature set is rather limited . . .

      Keep up the good work!

Ummm, OK, maybe you are waiting for feature requests? 😉

Well, I suggest that SQLYog Max include (at minimum . . . but I think this is already the plan) all functionality in the current release of SQLYog. [Some of my favorite current features are: synchronization wizard, structure synch tool, and copy table structure/data tool .]

Also, I noted with great interest your support of Postgres in MAX. Please consider adding support for Firebird (www.firebirdsql.org)

      Thanks for all your work.

Any plans to have SSH support built in ??

SSH support is planned for SQLyog 4.0 and future versions of SQLyog Max.

Till the time we incorporate SSH tunneling in SQLyog, you can use 3rd party tunneling tools like Van Dyke Secure CRT or Putty.

You can follow the given steps:

      • setup the port forwarding in your favorite SSH client.
      • connect your SSH client to your server.
      • If the tunneling is working correctly then fire up SQLyog and tell it to connect to the server localhost, enter in your username and password for your server, click the connect button.

A very good tutorial on SSH port forwarding (tunneling) with MS Windows can be found at http://acd.ucar.edu/~fredrick/mpark/ssh
