  That has been noticed for community edition of SQLyog, after v6.x approximately:
  
  All buttons and menu items, appeared after v6 have exceptionally advertising nature.
  
  I am is right ?
  
  The late versions is valuable for downloading, in additional functionality sense ?

  yes and yes!
  
  As regards the second question you are the one who can best judge. You may have several versions intalled in parallel to different folders.
