MemberHi,
We checked the dump, it is pointing towards windows file.
1. Can you please reboot the OS?
It could be an issue with Windows Vista/7 'Data Execution Prevention (DEP)' feature that is not quite stable. A reboot will normally solve this. Please reboot and let us know the status.
2.Check if any installed security related program 'knocks down' SQLyog. Most security suites come with some 'script killer' feature.
Thanks & Regards,
Khushboo

MemberHi
I have the same problem with SQLYog enterprise 8.17 on windows 7 pro. I know a reboot solves it, but sometimes it takes a few to get it working, and is not an idea solution, especially since I have actually paid for the software!
It has only started happening since the latest windows updates approx in period 18th Jan – 28th Jan.
Are there any fixes available? or can I get hold of a free upgrade that works on windows 7?
Many thanks

MemberThis has happened to me a number of times now with the Enterprise version and always after a significant Windows 7 update.
I have solved the issue by performing the following:
1. Turn on Windows DEP for all programs and services except those I select.
2. Add Sqlyog executable to the exception list.
3. Restart computer
4. Start Sqlyog
5. Change Windows DEP back to original state
6. Restart computer
Sqlyog now works fine.

MemberHi Adrian,
Nice to know that you have solved the issue by yourself. But can you please tell us the version that you are using? If you are using an older version then i request you to upgrade to SQLyog version 8.6 where this issue has been taken care of. You can save yourself the trouble of doing all those steps mentioned 🙂 Request you to try the new build and get back to us regarding any issues.
Regards,
Aparna

Yes, this is an old version v8.02. I'll look at upgrading in the near future. Thank you for the great product.
